We at Nathan Contractors are excited to announce the celebration of our 10th anniversary in 2024, marking a decade of significant achievements and contributions to Australia’s civil construction industry. Since our establishment in 2014 by Russell Boyd, we have evolved from a specialised provider of structural concrete services to a leading force in delivering comprehensive infrastructure solutions across civil sectors, including renewable energy, transportation, and mining.
Reflecting on the past decade, we are proud to have successfully completed over 100 projects nationwide. Our commitment to excellence is demonstrated by the 630,000 cubic meters of concrete we have poured and the installation of over 90,000 tonnes of reinforcing steel. Moreover, our dedication to safety is underscored by completing 500,000 hours of project work while maintaining the highest safety standards.
A period of growth and taking on more complex projects
Our journey began with a strong focus on structural concrete services, quickly expanding our operations to the east coast of Australia by 2016. This period of growth included taking on more complex projects, establishing our reputation for reliability and excellence. By 2018, we had made significant strides in the renewable energy sector, delivering multiple wind farm projects and cementing our position as a key player in constructing wind turbine bases. Over the past five years, we have completed over 450 wind turbine bases, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
One of our core strengths is our ability to self-perform all trade works, from formwork and reinforcement fixing to concrete placement and finishing. This capability ensures high levels of quality control, safety, and efficiency, positioning us as a trusted partner for major infrastructure projects. Projects such as the Bango and Berrybank Wind Farms highlight our expertise in constructing and maintaining wind energy infrastructure, significantly contributing to Australia’s renewable energy landscape.
