We at Nathan Contractors are excited to announce...
We deliver complex projects that make a lasting impact on the built environment
Nathan Contractors has built a reputation for excellence across a wide array of critical infrastructure sectors in Australia. Our diverse portfolio showcases our capabilities in delivering complex projects that make a lasting impact on the built environment and contribute to the sustainable development of the communities we serve. From renewable energy solutions to vital road network upgrades, our commitment to innovation, quality, and safety drives our success.
In the wind energy sector, Nathan Contractors has played a pivotal role in some of Australia’s most significant renewable energy projects. At the Moorabool Windfarm in Victoria, we constructed 54 monolithic concrete gravity footings for wind turbines, demonstrating our capacity to handle large-scale renewable energy infrastructure. This project was completed on time and within budget, with zero lost time injuries, highlighting our commitment to safety and quality. Similarly, the Bango Wind Farm in New South Wales saw us constructing 46 monolithic foundation footings, installing over 6,000 meters of electrical conduits, and pouring more than 25,000 cubic meters of concrete, all while maintaining an impeccable safety record.
We are instrumental in the construction of critical substations
Our expertise extends to the electricity sector, where we have been instrumental in the construction of critical substations. The Macintyre Substation project in Queensland involved building 40 structures, including Switch Room Buildings and Control Room Buildings, and placing 1,260 cubic meters of concrete. Despite challenges such as extreme heat and bushfires, we successfully met major milestones, ensuring the project stayed on track. The Clarke Creek Substation project near Rockhampton showcased our ability to manage extensive civil works, including earthworks, formwork, reinforcing steel, and concrete works, contributing to the generation of 450MW of electricity.
In the water infrastructure sector, our work on the Suma Park Auxiliary Spillway in Orange, New South Wales, involved constructing wingwalls, structural slabs, and associated concrete footings. Our team’s dedication to safety and quality ensured that the project met all specifications, even under challenging conditions such as asbestos contamination. Another notable project is the Paradise Dam Spillway Upgrade in Queensland, where we successfully completed complex formwork and concrete placement tasks, maintaining high safety standards and delivering the project on time and within budget.
The mining sector has also benefited from our expertise. At the Rocklands Copper Mine in Queensland, we undertook extensive earthworks, concrete footings, foundations, and slabs for processing equipment, completing over 500 pedestal footings for pipe racks and conveyor systems. Our work ensured that all concrete and cast-in elements met technical specifications and tolerances, contributing to the efficient operation of the mining facilities.
Dedicated to driving positive environmental and economic impacts
Our contributions to the transportation sector are highlighted by projects like the Googong Estate Bebo Arch Bridge in New South Wales. This project involved constructing a bridge over water with stringent environmental controls, ensuring minimal impact on water quality. Our ability to deliver innovative bridge designs within community developments showcases our versatility and commitment to quality and safety.
At Nathan Contractors, our diverse portfolio reflects our strategic importance in Australia’s infrastructure development. Our expertise across multiple sectors, combined with our innovative solutions and unwavering commitment to safety and quality, makes us a preferred partner for clients looking to develop sustainable, high-quality infrastructure. We remain dedicated to driving positive environmental and economic impacts, reinforcing our position as leaders in the civil construction industry.
