Proven Expertise
At Nathan Contractors, we have delivered numerous high-profile projects, showcasing our versatility and expertise. We completed the Buronga Substation, the largest in the southern hemisphere, by placing 7,600m³ of concrete and 1,800 tonnes of steel, all without any Lost Time Injuries (LTIs). Our work on the Clarke Creek Wind Farm Substation managed extensive civil works, resulting in a 300% increase in project scope due to our quality workmanship.
We excel in bridge construction, demonstrated by the Barton Highway Roundabout Bridges project in Canberra, which included new cyclist bridges, upgrades to existing structures, and the implementation of retaining walls and traffic barriers, all completed with a focus on safety and quality. Our work on the Suma Park Auxiliary Spillway project highlights our ability to manage complex water infrastructure projects, achieving a Class 1 finish on all vertical faces despite asbestos contamination and extreme weather conditions. Additionally, our role in the Bruce Highway Upgrade Project involved constructing 11 bridges, including Australia’s first diamond interchange bridges, delivered efficiently and safely.
